I don't see why not. It is a standard IDE HDD. I know your able to put any 3rd party IDE HDD into the PS2, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put it in your comp. Although I don't know what file system the PS2 uses, so getting the files off may be a whole different issue.[addsig]

Thanks for the info SmokingFetus, I wasn't sure on the subject because I know little about the hard drive the PS2 uses. I assumed that it was compatable with a normal PC, but I didn't want to say anything that I didn't know was true.[addsig]

I think that this is the best solution I saw this at Fry's the other day but didn't get a chance to check it out. So I did some snooping around aftre seeing the thread. Anyway its a flash drive that you can use, but also gives you alot more capablities. I figure in a month or so you might see something like this but instead of a flash drive away for you to use your PSP>

it has been rumored that SOCOM 3 for the PS2 and the PSP will have some sort of feature that will allow you to do something like what jay said.

so basically i'm gonna have to buy S3 for the PS2 and the PSP. either way, i will because SOCOM is still one of my favorite games and when i'm not playing with the PSP i'm online in S2[addsig]

I was in a debate on this in another post. I have tried connecting my PSP to my PS2 which is V12 (slim model) and nothing happens on the browser.
When I tried copying my pictures from GT4's picture mode, it starts a transfer then gives me some message about how it was unable to copy to the device. I thought it may be because my PS2 is UK PAL and my PSP is Japanese.[addsig]

I don't know if you all know this, but I use the Datel Mass Media Manager USB kit.
There are 2 cd's in the kit; the one in the front of the package is the one for PS2.
You then run the CD in the PS2 and hook up the PSP to it while in USB mode.
In the PS2 Datel cd menu, you can copy, upload, move and "compress" PS2 files to and from the PSP.[addsig]

Oh! And another important note!
On the main menu of the Datel program (the PS2 disc in the front of the Datel PSP USB Mass Manager Kit, put it in the PS2), the bottom of the tv says that the square button will format the PS2 8MB memory card (Mine is Sony brand). I hit the square button and it would not work.
Finally, this morning, I accidentally pressed all four of the trigger buttons at the same time (L1 L2 R1 R2)
.
It gave me the option to format my Sony brand PS2 Memory card, AND IT WORKS!

I'm sorry if this is old news, but I just wanted to share this. I'm sorry for the bad grammar (if any); the pollen level from where I live is 11.5/12; I have a sore throat.[addsig]

Yeah that rose an eye brow. I just wanted someone else to say something, so not to risk sounding like a jerk.
