I noticed that I got that error every time that I tried to connect to a hotspot that you had to log on to via a user name and password.

Also go to Settings - Power Save Settings - WLAN Power Save and make sure it says 'off'. That did the trick for me. Must have been playing around and turn it on without knowing it made WLAN stop functioning. Great feature if you ask me...

I know I'm a year late here. Probably no one will even see this. When I first got the PSP I set up the internet and it worked. Now for whatever reason, I'm getting a DNS error when I try to browse. However, when I set up the connection the test is always successful. When I check my 2wire modem it even shows my PSP as active. I still keep getting that damn 80410418 DNS error. I've tried suggestions from a few different message boards, and everytime the test is successful, but still the server error. If anyone sees this, help me please.

When I had this problem, I hard coded the IP and it worked, and did not have to search for my IP.[addsig]
