1 GB Memory card problem

For Windows (XP-7)
Obtain the application called GetDataBack for FAT32. You should use an application such as this because it doesn't care if a filesystem is present and intact, unlike many poor recovery utilities.

Ignore Windows' request to format the card when attaching via a card reader. It's important that you not directly attach from the camera unless it offers a simple storage mode whereby the card appears as a USB memory stick etc under (My)Computer

If you are not comfortable with learning how to use the application on your own, seek out help at a PC tech forum - it's quite popular.

Just remember to use excessive scanning and set temp/recovery folders to something other than the attached card, eg a folder on your desktop.
