I'm a big fan of DVDFab for dropping DVDs. Works great on unprotected DVDs or .iso dvd files. It's not free, though... think I paid about $50 for it, but I use it so much that it's worth it. Also, bank put a hold on my credit card because the company is in Eastern Europe (I think), but a quick phone call cleared that up...

Just select PSP, and then change the bitrate down to about 384 (in my opinion). Any less and picture quality really suffers, any higher seems like a waste of space... Then click and wait... takes about 12 minutes for a full length movie.[addsig]

ok , no matter which video converting program i use or what setting (although i usually try to go for the bestquality one) i seem to get a lot of ghosting during most scenes and the sound is tinny and has a sort of quality akin to listening to the sound of the ocean in a seashell (try cupping your hand over one ear and move your thumb a bit, notice the odd hissing type sound? its abit like that ).
All the vids im trying to convert are of at least dvd quality to start with, and look and sound fine but once converted are pants!
Is it just that the psp isn't that good at video? or the converters are rubbish?(i've tried xilisoft video converter 3 ,MP4 converter, magic psp video converter, aimersoft psp vid converter, and psp video 9) or something else?
Any ideas peeps?[addsig]
