I also found out you dont need a Memory stick for this tool, and you can also use it as normal battery without changing it at all! Heres a link if you want to find out more!

Well I've just bought a 3600mAh battery from ebay for ?9.50 so that I can play for more then 3-4 hours without a charger and I'll probably turn my original 1800mAh battery into a Pandora, but for ?15 - no hassle & no memory stick - I'd go for the Datel one if I were you lewiswell. :-) [addsig]

Thanks I have done some research and found that the best option is the Datel Tool Battery. Sorry to all those that detest it but it is hassle free and looks so simple to use. So once I order it sometime around next week (seen as I need some money) I will post in this thread and tell everyone here how it works and everything like that, I might even right a guide. Also something else i found you can use it as a normal battery as well as a Pandora's Battery!

Thanks for everyone's help, it is much appreciated lewiswell 8-) [addsig]

Hey LewisWell, if you do purchase the battery, please post a review as it would be really helpful to me (and most probably alot of other people). I am in the same situation as you, people slagging off the 'Tool' battery, but I can't get Lumines and I don't want to brick my PSP 8-) [addsig]

I know how you feel I will be getting mine sometime next week so people who are thinking about purchasing one of these tools just wait for me to screw up(this is likely :-P) before you waste your money[addsig]

This is Datel's own Pandora's battery but is hassle free and does not require a homebrew capable PSP to make the battery, it does not require a memory stick(from what I've heard) and you can use the battery like normal with out changing any code which the battery needs after downgrading(what I mainly want it for!) and unbricking.[addsig]

I wouldn't buy one just yet I don't want you to be ripped off, even though I have researched this tool for over 3 days non stop! My advice would be just wait for me to get one first(like I said in my previous post) then I will report my findings of how useful this product is, OK? [addsig]
