Don't forget us linux guys. I found that ffmpeg works quite well. There is a pretty good write up at [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register], but the guy suggests using a frame rate of only 15, which I could not get to work. When I used a rate of 29.9, things worked well. ffmpeg is just a command line executable, but it does the job.

Also for the linux users and anyone else that wants to customize the icons I figured out that the .thm file is just a jpeg file with the dimensions 160x120. I was able to create a jpeg using xv under linux, renamed it to match the movie and it worked great.

How many hours of video can you fit on a 512mb card at varying qualities?[addsig]

Under the MP_ROOT directory, create one called 100MNV01. then put the video files in there. That'll fix it[addsig]

Has anyone had any luck getting Quicktime files to convert over? I've tried a couple times with some, and I keep getting errors thrown up in both PSPvid9 and 3GP as well.

Anyone?

What's really weird is that it's .mov file, and I can convert other .mov's with no problem - I can't get the Sin City original trailer down, but I manage the 2nd one just fine.

I just received my Mini-B USB cable from NewEgg only to realize that there is a very big difference between the 4-pin version and the 5-pin version. I hadn't read about it anywhere so I had to take a guess and now I've gotta do an RMA.

zmcnulty, maybe this would be helpful information to put in the guide, seeing as how this confusion really rained on my parade.[addsig]
