Use Video Lan Client (vlc.org) to convert incompatible files to mpeg4 (xvid), then get 3GP to convert those files. Use the stream output setting in "open file" It is possible to do it all within VLC to get a PSP video file, but I havn't worked out the settings yet. edited by: jacbo, Apr 05, 2005 - 02:46 AM [addsig] |

HELP!!!!!!
I followed the instructions perfectly, but my psp still says no videos. (My drive is J:/) When i use the 3gp converter i target it to my psp directory like so: J:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 Then the converter processes my mpeg and sends it there. However there is no THM file. Could that be why there is no video's shown?? Either way, its pissing me off, so a little help please!!![addsig] |

you dont need the .THM file to watch videos, the .THM file is just a picture of the first frame of the video. Try using PSP Video9. If its not in file vault just try google.[addsig] |

MATERIALS ----------------- PSP USB Cable Movie PSPVideo9 I gave PSPVideo9 a try, based on the fact that it just looks sleek and easy to use. Some of the sites I went to didnt look very noob-friendly. The hardest part was the download. Seriously. From that point on it's all point and click. After DL, install, and run... 1- Connect PSP 2- Specify Drive (and create a root if you havent already) 3- Click The Convert Icon On the top Bar 4- Click Convert New Video, and select your movie The process should start automaticaly 5- Once finished, click Copy (omg the horror) 6- Highlight the video you want to copy and hit Copy To PSP *7.1- If you dont have a root directory it will create one for you *7.2- if you have a root dir, everything should copy normaly 8- It will go to the PSP root dir automaticaly UNLESS you changed the drop point like I did. Mine ended up on the desk top but thats what I wanted Feel free to tinker in Settings to adjust where you want the new file to land. I chose desktop because, well i can see it. ALSO there is a volume controll inthe settings. It goes up to 200%. I loaded Aeris's Death from FF7 (smallest file i could find) at 120% volume. Once it played onthe PSP it was fine for me. Had I put it at 200% I'm sure I'd be 1/2 deaf by now. God knows what usng the ear buds would do... The file also started at 4.8mb and ended at 5mb so theres not much of a difference, tho i'm sure there will be once you get into the bigger files. Either way PSPV9 is super easy to use, it pretty much tells you what you have to do, and if it wont work, You did something wrong. If you serously need screenshots I can do it but I suggest trying before hand. edited by: Fayth, Apr 21, 2005 - 02:05 PM [addsig]

Is there something wrong with my computer or with what I am doing? I have used both PSP Video 9 and the 3GP recommended on this site, and no matter what I do, the sound is about 2 seconds behind the images...
Does anyone know how to fix this, or what I am doing wrong? I'm starting to get very frustrated...[addsig] |
