how should i be doing it cause either way doom dosent work the updates dont work but i updated from the game (legend of heros) but the updates dont work from the game menu[addsig]

Maybe when you downgraded you deleted something off of the flash memory.[addsig]

Get a umd and try to update it with that, like socom ftb1 will have a 2.00 firmware update.

i made a folder called gpsp it didnt work, for doom i have % and normol and it didnt work i think im doing something wrong[addsig]

For Doom your doing it right, I don't know maybe if you update you could use an e-loader. To update using a regular EBOOT updater just make a folder named UPDATE in your PSP/GAME folder and put the EBOOT.PBP in there and run it from the GAME menu.
