Devils Advocate Required: Why should I choose PS3 over XB360

I've had the PS2 and Xbox since the launch of each. I've agressivly maintained accessories and games for both systems, up till about a year ago. That's when I decided that my Xbox was much more functional and fun than my PS2 which only *gasp* played games.

I'm betting that this trend will continue on with the 360 Vs. the PS3. I will probably own both, but I can almost guarantee that my PS3 will be bought for one specific title or series that I like, while the 360 will be in my living room as my main "entertainment machine".[addsig]

it's a tight decision both systems have ups and downs and not everybody will have the cash $$ to purchase both systems (oh i will !!!).

Well, the fight got even more interesting now that Square-Enix is releasing their "popular" Final Fantasy series for BOTH systems. [addsig]

I can imagine in the future of Sony and Microsoft:
XBOX900 and XBP (XBOX PORTABLE)
PLAYSTATION 4 and PSP2
Who knows what it will be like in 10 yrs?[addsig]

The PS3 uses the Spiderman font on the front of it, the 360 does not... I think the choice is clear.[addsig]
