360 more powerful than PS3?

Alright iddgd, you're not completely untainted by the media yourself. All I've seen you do in other 360 vs PS3 forum's, is bash the PS3 and everyone that supports it. True, the specs that were originally released for the PS3 may not be the final specs put into the marketed PS3. But this doesn't mean they're lying to everyone, that's bad business. Sony will be finalizing the PS3 until it's released, some things may be taken out, and others may be added in. With all the expensive equipment put into the PS3, they may try to lose some of it to lower console price.
Also I hope you don't believe this blog you so religiously posted. I mean, if you did, you may be guilty of some of the things you were yelling at aero about. You said before no one's seen a PS3, well that's half true but we'll say you're correct. Now this guy that did this comparison, doesn't have a PS3 either, how can you truly trust his post when we can't have an actual side by side comparison. Added to the fact, this guy works for Microsoft, don't you think he might be a little biased with his findings? And I'll say again, the PS3 hasn't launched, which means it's not finalized, which also means even if his breakdown of the specs is true, they are subject to change. Upon release, the PS3 may be better than the original specs, worse, or the same, who knows.

What? No way the xbox 360 is superior than ps3, even my friend who works for EA, said that PS3's system is amazing. It's fact that Ps3's system is superior, but, is it better, noone really knows, I've only seen clips of PS3 games, it looks awsome, but don't really know how it plays.
I'm putting my money on the PS3 though, Blue ray disc is the future, it's system power and compability is amazing, and the gaming company that's going to back this system, goign to make the system better than 360. [addsig]

Yes, I'm also pretty sure that article was %99 bollocks. I only posted it to get other peoples opinions. I apologise for flaming, but comments like the ones aero made really bug me, especially when he hasn't got the slightest clue what he's talking about.

PS. I'm buying a PS3 and I have a PSP, incase you can't tell. So I'm definatley not a complete Xbox fanboy.[addsig]

ok the site that iddgd posted is a xbox based site soo im guessing the article might be biased. The artcle that ambigous posted is very nice and informs on the ps3 hardware(nice post error :-D ), and biased wont be a issue because the game section has everythimhg from ps3 to xbox360.[addsig]

i am hoping the ps3 should be more powerful as it has taken longer to come out that the new xbox unless the developers are wasting time by playing ping pong in the sony office, the ps3 i think should be better[addsig]

Let's see..... for me, generally the system that is better isn't always the more expensive one. I have yet to see what a PS3 can do, because only one of the two most "powerful" gaming platforms is actually out right now, so I can't really make much of an argument.

The only thing I can say is that as far as I'm concerned is that Microsoft has probably developed the gaming platform with the most superb jaw-dropping graphics I have ever seen (from an artist's point of view), but Sony in the long run has always had a much more expansive line of games for its system.

If I had to choose, I would go with the PS3 all the way, based on past experience with Sony systems.

That article's straight BS the author claims to work for microsoft on the 360 project then tell me WHY ITS NOT COPYRIGHTED BY MICROSOFT OR ON THERE WEBSITE its a fact that a majority of the aspects of the PS3 are better then the 360's nt just the shading the CPU is more of a powerhouse then the 260's and the 360 splits a 512Mb stick of RAM for the main RAM & GPU which gives less performnce then that of 2 256's like in the PS3 any computer nerd or gamer for that fact would tell you that having seperate like a card and board is better then onboard.

The ps3 will serve xbox 360 any day. do some reasearch and its easy to see. even without research you can most likely see that in a gaming magazine, such as Gameinformer...[addsig]
