Have any of you had a go at making homebrew using SG57's tutorials?

I have but I can't do much other than write text, take screenshots, make sounds etc. Simple things like that.

If any of you have any ideas for a simple game that can be included in a game menu or information to be displayed like in PSPeriodic, either post in this forum or PM me.[addsig]

I can't get the toolchain.sh file to execute.
I run it via cygwin and it says "ERROR: Please make sure you have GNU 'make' installed.".
Does anyone know how to get past this problem?
'Cause this is seriously inhibiting my developing...[addsig]

I used this webpage to get Cygwin set up. I know it takes a long time but it's worth it!

If anyone is creating their own homebrew, I'm sure everyone here at PSP-Vault would love to know. (At the moment, I am just mucking about making random things.)[addsig]

No I have cygwin set up, I had that done before the tutorial (my friend, hugh *persuaded me to get it 'cause he has linux). But when executing I get the error above mentioned. And I can't get the SVN update command to work either.

NO! No more SG57! Do you reckon we would be able to be beta testers for his TIFF games? Then he wouldnt have to stop coding. Or maybe us wannabe TIFF coders, should get our act together and team up to make the TIFF scene explode with new homebrew! (Not literally!)

If SG does get a new PSP, he might me stuck with a crappy 2.81/2.82!

Anyway, we'll miss you SG57! Good luck getting a new (homebrew friendly) PSP.[addsig]

I would like to take a moment to remember all the developers who gave 2.80 users a chance to try homebrew. One of these greats was SG57, who left the scene when his PSP was stolen, very sad indeed. But he gave us tones of homebrew and now he misses his PSP, but good news for Wii users that SG57 plans to make homebrew for the Wii. So say good buy to the .tiff SG57 to the new Wii SG57.
