The problem with programmers is that they don't make much money (if any) from writing software for free.
Technically it's in a legal gray area. (that or illegal, depends what it is)
And sidestepping the TA-082 security bridge is apperently impossible.

Because of recent problem with my computer I was not able to update this guide yesterday, and I am going out today. So I should be able to update this guide by the end of the day Wednesday.

Just a little update on what to except I now know how to change EVERY menu name, insert a bootsound, gameboot, disable network update, disable the wavy lines, insert custom backgrounds, change your font, remove the SCEA logo from the bootvideo, and how to check how much memory is left on the flash. All these modifications will be done using 3.02 OE, I'll update this guide with these new discoveries by the end of the day wednesday.

you can recover your psp if it bricks during the process of upgrading to 3.02 OE right?[addsig]

I think the only way to un-brick your PSP if you brick with the 3.02 OE updater is by installing a modchip, and Shiner I am working on that part of the guide I wanted to release some stuff before I started with that section.[addsig]
