Thanks for the help... will i be able to use the "magic" memory stick as a normal memory stick again afterwards?
Also, will this work even though I have 3.95 firmware? If it won't then where can I get a downgrader or program to restore it to 3.60?

K thanks. Will this be able to install the software without needing to use a phat psp? I can use my phat psp, but the screen makes everything obscure and blurred and cracked.[addsig]

Oh jesus, I was cutting into the outer shell of the battery and then SPARKS and FIZZ and PUFF OF SMOKE!
It got hot but still worked in the psp (my broken one to be safe) and when i took it out, it got VERY hot. I think i cut too far into the battery... I am leaving it in my fridge to cool down... lets hope it works again.[addsig]
