I still can't get the darn thing open... fizz, bang, sparks... and it STILL refuses to open...

Help with opening it plz?[addsig]

OK, after finally lifting up a flap on the side, i see there is a hole (a small one) in the side of my battery. I doubt it will still work.
EDIT: i finally got it open. I didn't realise how small the pins are... having trouble finding the right one. I'll use the images, don't worry.
btw: I got the magic memory stick up and running.

OMG after looking at a few tutorials on how to make a "fat psp pandora battery - hard mod" it appears mine looks nothing like the ones listed. mine looks like this:

Unfortunately, the guide you provided me with doesn't explain what you need to do to the two points. I expect soldering, but i don't have a soldering iron... what do I do?[addsig]

OK! Yay! I finally managed to cut the leg off the battery chip! Now, lets hope it works... despite it having a hole in it.
Will it actually work with a hole in it?
Oh, and sorry for triple posting...

You need a 256mb memory stick or higher.

And then you have to have your memory stick in your computer (NOT USB) and it has to format it, so make sure you get all your important stuff off it beforehand.
After it's done, it will have installed the Universal Installer v3. Then, put your pandora battery into your psp (do'nt connect the AC adaptor) and turn it on. When it comes on, press X to install CFW 3.71 m33-3. When the memory stick light STOPS FLASHING and the psp turns itself off, you need to remove the pandora battery, put in a normal battery and you're done!
