make sure also that ur mem stick is a pro duo, at least 256mb but not higher than 4gb.[addsig]

for slim, its a blind installation. insert the magic mem stick then insert the batt. Then it will boot.. after that press X,the mem and wifi light indicator starts to blink. wait til its done. Then Press X to reboot your psp.
