ahh....and that is my problem.....the orange light stays lit with the battery in.... but the psp status remains (external) not (charging).....But i will leave it in over night. It would be nice if my problem were that simple![addsig]

to bypass battery check hold L and Triangle at the same time as you click install update but this only works if u have CFW[addsig]
