I think he's looking at a way of tricking Sony into thinking that 3.71M33 is a 3.72 Official update, wouldn't know why you'd want to though.

Is there any program that lets you connect a portable hardrive as removeable memory on the PSP?[addsig]

i got an idea, going long the lines of sicksniper. What bout an update that u run but somehow u smart coders and hackers edit the code to open the other cfw updater or maybe a 1.50 updater, wouldnt that be pretty easy (but i know nothen bout coding or anything like dat on the psp). then wat about if u edit a demo to open something else like a dgrader or something. Technicaly wouldnt the psp just be thinking its playing the demo.... and one more thing is there not a way to get into things threw the theme changer....i mean maybe a theme that does something else somehow but i dunno its just a theory i been thinking bout....[addsig]

I'd love a homebrew iR remote app that can learn by pointing a remote at the PSP's iR port. Also, I've seen a PSP port (or near enough in any case) of MS Excel - I'd much prefer a proper MS Word compatible text editor with proper formatting options and such, and also to be compatible with large files; most PSP text editors get to one or two pages then crash.

Another Idea, I won't do this but it would be Ok if someone else does this,
PSP FTP Server- Use your PSP as an FTP server so people can download out of a certain folder on your PSP using an FTP address. It's probably a bad idea though and I don't know how to make FTP Server software.[addsig]

Zx-81 has already created a FTP client,

but it would be a great learning experience! You don't neccessarily need to know how to create server software, just how to access a server using your client. For an example you can look at the FireFTP module for FireFox:

Well some really good stuff would be like a football game, Where you would move around with arrow keys or throw balls, no defense though because it wouldn't be fun.

Another one could be like a Guitar Teaching thing, where it would tell what frets for the certain cord, or maybe even a tuner, if you got a mic. you could be able to tune it, cause some really good tuners are really expensive.

maybe a cheap version of GTA PSP lol. You wouldn't have any pedestrians just cars and guns, maybe one place with pedestrians for shooting at.

A bomb disabler, where certain buttons will pop up on the screen and you'll have to tap them really fast, if you mess up KAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

IDK of anything else the calculator would be cool though as well cause they do run a little expensive. [addsig]
