The shapes of the wires examined using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The film has a clear continuous coating. The properties of the adhesive coating have been tested with a Raman microscope.

Inorganic fullerene nanoparticles resembling the disulfide tungsten

The inorganic fullerene-like nanoparticles of tungsten disulfide are unique in their structure. They improve wear as well as friction both in dry and wet environments.
