It's a yellowish-white powder that has the chemical composition CeO2. is a commercially important product that also serves as an intermediate for the removal of elements from ores. Its reversible transformation to a non-stoichiometric ore is its distinctive characteristic.
Ceriumoxidehas an average density of 7.13g/cm3 as well as a melting temperature of 2397. Cerium oxide is insoluble with water and alkali but can be slightly dissolved by acid. Hydrogen reduction ceriumoxide can be used to achieve cerium orange at temperatures of 2000 and 15, mph. It is also soluble in alkali and water.

Cerium oxide CeO2 powder performance:
To make cerium oxide, hydrogen can reduce cerium oxide to a solution at 2000 degrees Celsius and 15MPa. The cerium oxide will turn yellowish or reddish if the temperature is at zero at 2000, but it is at no pressure at 5MPa. The cerium oxide is used in the manufacture of polishing and catalyst materials, catalyst carriers, catalysts (auxiliaries), fuel cell electrolytes as well as automobile exhaust absorbers, electronic ceramics and other applications.
